Project Configurator
The Project Configurator allows you to create custom Project schedule configurations based on locations and object associations. While a schedule template allows you to define a Project's tasks and its durations, you can use the Project Configurator to automatically include optional tasks or change durations based on geographic area or object association.
For example, a task of "Zoning Inspection" may take much longer in a certain state with rigorous zoning restrictions. You can use the Project Configurator to designate this difference. Then, when a Project is created in the designated location, the "Zoning Inspection" task automatically appears with the custom duration.
Create a custom Project configuration:

Navigate to the Admin page.

In the Applications section, click Project Configurator.
The Project Configurator page opens.

Click Add.
The section expands to display a form.

Complete the Name field.

In the Division field, click Define to choose an organization unit.

Use the Association drop-down menu to choose an object with which to associate the configuration.

Use the Schedule Template drop-down menu to choose a schedule template.

Use the Association Type drop-down menu to choose an association type.

Enter a description in the Description field.

When complete, click Submit.
Once the configuration has been created, you can edit its details, enable optional tasks, or create custom task durations.
Edit a Project configuration's details:

Navigate to the Project Configurator page.

Open the desired Project configuration by clicking the configuration name.

Click Edit. A new window appears.

Make any necessary changes.

When complete, click Save.
Enable an optional task on a Project configuration:

Navigate to the Project Configurator page.

Open the desired Project configuration by clicking the configuration name.

Select the check box next to the desired optional task. Changes are highlighted in yellow.

When complete, click Save Configuration.
To create a custom task duration:

Navigate to the Project Configurator page.

Open the desired Project configuration by clicking the configuration name.

Next to the desired task, enter a duration in the New Duration field. Changes are highlighted in yellow.

When complete, click Save Configuration.
